Family Session at the Toledo Museum of Art

This past December, Brooke posted on a photography group that we are both a part of, looking for a great spot for an elopement in Cleveland, Ohio. I commented with a place that I thought would be cool, and also mentioned that if she wanted a second shooter, I would love to tag along. I sent her a message on Facebook, and that is when I realized that we had a mutual friend, my roommate from college. It turns out that the two of them grew up down the road from each other and had known each other their entire lives. We instantly became friends before we had even met, which led me to traveling to Cleveland to battle the cold weather with her for a very special elopement.

When Brooke told me that her, her daughter, and her fiancé would be coming to Cleveland in March for their spring break and they wanted a family session, I was so excited! Winter has not been kind to us in Ohio this year, so we had to play it by ear as to where our session would be. Originally we had planned on shooting at Maumee Bay State Park, but because it was so cold and there was a possibility of snow (no, we never got any), we decided to move it indoors.

I had no clue that we were even allowed to photograph inside the Toledo Museum of Art until this session, but I was so excited to hear that! These three girls were so well behaved in the art museum and we had so much fun! Who else wants a session in the Toledo Museum of Art?!
