The Lovely Harrisburg Engagement Session for Britton and Colleen
Colleen is someone I've known for a long time. We shortly after both of us moved to Tennessee. Joey, her older brother, is one of my closest friends, and their family has become my second family in Tennessee. Colleen and Britton just moved to Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, where Britton is pursuing his law degree.
Colleen texted me, asking if I knew of any photographers in the area, but I offered to go out there myself because it is such a gorgeous place. So Cooper and Nana, their dogs, joined them for their first session at Wildwood Park in Harrisburg, PA. They were adorable and had a great time exploring the new park. We took advantage of the beautiful sunlight, and these two pups added vibes to the moments. The couple is fun to photograph with their simplicity and authenticity. Wildwood Park in Harrisburg proved to be an excellent location for a photo session with the light it provides perfect photographs in every way.
Afterward, we dropped the dogs at their home, then headed to downtown Harrisburg to the Pennsylvania State Capitol Building. It is right along the river and in the historic district, so it is lovely. The State Capitol Building creates a warm glow of majesty and sophistication in the nighttime hours. This location's setting is great for a night engagement photoshoot. Couples may pose in front of the stunning stairwells or embrace the cityscape as a backdrop. But we did it while the sun was still shining brightly, and it turned out to be fantastic.
This engagement location has something unique and appealing around every corner. There are no entrance fees or permits. Instead, fill out the application on the website to apply for a photo permit. They are getting married in June 2022 in Tennessee, where both of their families live.
