The Perfect Guide for an Engagement Session in Nashville, Tennessee
Are you wondering and feeling a little stressed about your engagement session? In the haze of planning a wedding, the engagement session is one of the most vivid memories we have ever had in our relationship. Our goal is to make you feel optimistic and prepare for it. If you're not quite sure, here are some tips on how to prepare for your engagement session, hence why you won't want to miss a professional engagement session.
Ring.
Clean your ring. The ring is presented as a gift of commitment by a partner to their prospective spouse when they propose marriage. The engagement ring plays a vital role in pictorial or session engagement.
Where.
It can make a significant difference to your engagement photos to choose the right location. Choose a place that is special for you both. It might be where you had your first day, where you were engaged, or where you always wanted to go, but you didn't have the time. You should always choose a place where you're going to feel comfortable because, on camera, that's going to come across and make a huge difference to your photos.
When.
Choose when you want your engagement shoot to be held. If it is lovely to work with springtime for daylight, it can also be breathtaking for sunset shooting. When you have your shot, whatever the weather does will always affect you. Before the day of your session, check the weather several times. It may change, and you may need to change your plans accordingly.
Outfits & Style.
It does not need to be too complicated to choose clothes for your engagement shoot. Choose outfits like you. In what you wear, you must be confident so that you don't feel uncomfortable. Choose 2 outfits-one more formal and one more casual. Every couple can take a variety of photos, so this is the perfect time to take advantage of it. As far as what to choose for outfits is concerned, I always recommend that it be something that complements the other rather than matching. Don't have too many patterns as you get too busy. Don't wear anything with small stripes, as you can see it looking odd and wavy in your photos. Make sure your clothes are ironed and look fresh! We don't want wrinkles in your clothes.
Pets.
If your dog is going to be in the photos, make sure they've been bathed and their leash and collar are clean. Be sure to check at the location that it's ok first because we don't want to turn up and be disappointed if your pooch isn't allowed.
Fresh.
If you've got weird tan lines, make sure they're covered. We don't want it to be distracting. If you have chosen a hairstyle that doesn't stay up or makeup that's too big or too subtle, then your engagement shoot will show that to you, and before your special day, we don't want to make a big alteration. Be natural and confident, then beauty will truly show.
Some couples are getting prepared for their engagement photoshoot with a checklist of photos and videos they want. This checklist can sometimes be very useful, as it can give your photographer a clear strategy of the course and style you are looking for. But sometimes your checklist doesn't match the location, theme, or setting you've chosen. You might even have chosen a selection of images that don't work together, which could make a shoot inconsistent or a bit random. Don't worry, we want you to trust your photographer. Because, their expertise and creativity to engineer the shots you'd never dreamed of, but take your breath away for sure.
The concept of having an engagement shoot is becoming more and more popular, often called a pre-wedding shoot, but why?
· Use the engagement photos for invitations.
· Use the engagement photos to save the date cards.
· Use the engagement photos to set up a wedding website to make it easier to do RSVPs.
· Use engagement photos for social media announcements and invites.
· Sizeable prints of your engagement photos around the venue can be a gorgeous touch.
· Use engagement photos such as table name cards for little posters.
· Favours can also make use of your engagement photos.
· The most common use of your engagement photos is displaying them at home. Small picture frames, multi-photo displays, or large prints.
ENGAGEMENT Photos are TIMELESS!
Keep in mind that your engagement shoot is just as important as the photographs of your wedding day, and you might find that you love these portraits just as much.
