Eric and Jamie's Enchanting Outdoor Elopement
Outdoor weddings always seem to add a little bit of magic to the occasion, as special as they already are. Just ask Eric and Jamie, the happy newlyweds who had their small and intimate elopement by a mill surrounded by nature. The now-officially husband and wife traveled with their daughters from Illinois all the way to Ely’s Mill in Gatlinburg, Tennessee to celebrate their love by finally tying the knot.
Getting Ready at the Mill
The whole family helped each other get ready in the cozy cabin hours before the ceremony. Jamie, the blushing bride, went with a simple romantic outdoor look with wavy curls flowing at her side. She wore an elegant flowy gown paired with teal sneakers, your not-so-average kicks of choice for a wedding. Her girls got similar simple yet elegant ceremony looks, which gave them lots of time to mess around with the foosball table. Eric got ready on his own, taking a simple red polo shirt and white rose boutonniere. The ceremony was set to take place outside by the mill’s gazebo.
Ceremony in the Great Outdoors
Jamie strutted down the aisle in her neat kicks with close friends and families in attendance. They were surrounded by love and the beauty of nature as they said their vows to each other. The happy couple shared a lovely kiss to seal the deal. Once the ceremony was over, the guests gathered for an intimate family formal photo opt.
Eric and Jamie had many of their wedding photos taken by the creek. The magical setting captured the youthful glow of their seasoned love perfectly. They were definitely one of the most genuine and joyful newlyweds whose happiness translated incredibly well on film. Congratulations guys!
