Wesley and Lauren Mountain Elopement Session
The current situation has forced a lot of couples to cancel or change their wedding plans. Wesley and Lauren were no exemption, having to make adjustments especially since they were outside of Seattle. Their plans had changed several times, and they eventually got married (technically) just because they were unsure how things were going to turn out in this current state. However, one thing did ring clear to them: no matter what the situation was, they were going to need amazing wedding photographs to commemorate their marriage. Going back and forth, Wesley and Lauren then decided to have their wedding photoshoot in Mt. Rainier National Park near Tacoma.
Exploring the Mountains for the Perfect Shot
The journey was about a 3 hour drive to the location. We hiked around the area looking for beautiful locations to shoot in and found a couple of spots that captured the beautiful bride and dapper groom perfectly. Lauren wore her lovely wedding dress with an elegant train that she unfortunately had to carry with her as we went around the area. Thankfully, there were Nike tennis shoes hidden under the dress that made walking the trails much easier. The day was bright and sunny, perfect for a lovely mountain wedding photoshoot.
The Sky’s the Limit
From the rocky paths to the grassy areas and even the roadside, there was no stone left unturned when exploring this great mountainous area. We explored trails, pull offs, and even took photos behind a dumpster. Yes, you read that right. The couple was tired but happy, and their incredible love shined through their photos. It may have been a long and uncertain road that they’ve been through planning to get married around this situation, but taking this next step was definitely something that they were most sure of.
