Photos & Phellowship Part 2

Community has always beens so incredibly important to me, as I mentioned in my last blog post, so attending Photos & Phellowship seemed like the perfect place for me to meet other photographers and grow as an artist. In the slow season (winter), I love to spend that time learning as much as I possibly can. What better way to do that then surround myself with incredibly talented photographers and learn from them.

This session was from the second styled shoot at Photos & Phellowship, and I couldn't help but fall in love. I won't lie to you, I was a bit nervous heading into this session because of all of the colors. If you know me at all, I don't like bright colors. I would rather be surrounded by earth tones than make a statement with color. I knew this session would be a struggle for me, but honestly, it was so enjoyable and something so different than anything I have done before!

Bre and Sam made this session so easy. You could tell how in love these two were, so all of these moments photographed between them were so genuine and real. I can't help but love that! This backdrop added such a fun detail to this colorful shoot! I loved that both of the styled shoots for Photos & Phellowship were so different from each other, because every wedding I photograph is so different. Each couple pours their own personalities into their wedding, so the possibilities are endless! All of these bright colors and beautiful details came together so well and in such a unique way!

If you follow me on social media (which I hope you do!!), you probably have noticed that I have fallen in love with detail shots from weddings. A lot of details are very neutral colors, so this variety of colors was so fun! How cute is that envelope with the pattern inside!?

As a photographer, I am always chasing light. When I discovered this little hallway in the studio, I fell in love and knew we had to have a few shots here! For those of you getting married, if you are planning on doing pictures indoors and there is a place like this in the venue, show your photographer if they don't know it's there. They will thank you! Big windows are perfect for pictures indoors and should always be utilized!

Photos & Phellowship was such a great experience and it would not be possible without these amazing vendors I am about to list below! Also, keep scrolling for more shots from this amazing session!
