We can always add more items to our home to make life easier, right? But “what should we put on our wedding registry?” is the big question! Sometimes it is hard to figure out what things are appropriate to ask for and are a safe bet, and what can be a bit risky to ask for. Here are my best suggestions to make your home cozy and just for the two of you!

Sheets

You can never have too many sets of sheets! Life gets busy, so we don’t always have time to wash everything and replace in the same day. Plus, if you have pets, you go through sheets like crazy like we do. Here is a wonderful option with lots of colors to choose from!

Throw Blankets

There are two of you in the house now, and if you are anything like my husband and I, we hate sharing blankets. I am constantly curled up in a blanket, and he thinks I am crazy. I also have several throws in every room, so when we have friends over, we can all curl up and stay warm! Check out this throw blanket with lots of color options!

A New Comforter

It’s a new chapter in your lives, so get a comforter set that you both like. My guess is, he isn’t going to love your pink floral comforter that you have had since college, and it has probably seen better days. Use this as an opportunity to update your bedding! New Throw Pillows

I don’t know about you, but I am always open to adding new throw pillows to the house. I love being able to switch them out frequently, but it isn’t always my top priority in the budget. Of course, Target is my favorite place for throw pillows!

I can tell you personally, my husband came into this relationship with no real luggage. In fact, he still tends to steal my luggage set, but I mean it is ours now, right? We all know that luggage gets destroyed easily, so a new set for your honeymoon would be perfect! Check out this luggage set.

So this may not be the most glamourous item for your registry, but we all know it is so necessary. It is time to retire that hand-me-down vacuum that maybe you bought at a garage sale for a new one. Steamer

If you are anything like me, you hate ironing. It’s just such a pain to break out the ironing board and set it up. It takes so much time. A steamer is a great alternative to that. It is so easy and quick and pretty easy to store too! Check out this link to a great one!

Ring Doorbell

We have a Ring Doorbell and I absolutely adore it! It is so nice to be able to see when a package is getting dropped off while we aren’t home, or check to see who is at the door while I am home by myself. I know it makes both me and my husband feel safer than ever. Here is a link to the one we have!

Some things that I would recommend not registering for would be holiday items. These items can be hard to store and tend to build up without being used as much as other items. Plus, purchasing holiday items in the off season can be difficult and you don’t get to put it to use right away!
