The Paradise Venue

The history of Graystone Quarry, according to their website, first became a site for limestone that supplies Interstate 65 from Columbia to Nashville, TN. Then later, the Thompson’s Station quarry, abandoned for over 50 years. Finally, in 2014, Graystone Quarry was purchased by the couple Ric and Nancy McEachern. They began a year-long process of cleaning up and re-zoning the site.  The couple decided to preserve the quarry’s majority and turn it into a paradise wedding venue today. 

Graystone Quarry is a one-of-a-kind event venue on 138 pristine private acres of a reclaimed abandoned rock quarry. This Williamson County site, located on a quiet country road in Thompson’s Station near Franklin, is steeped in local history and beauty, with meadows, forest, streams, ponds, dramatic limestone cliff walls, and a scenic waterfall.

The Celebrations

Make moments with family and friends that will last a lifetime. In Graystone Quarry, the number of fantastic photo opportunities was almost overwhelming; they have the most stunning backdrop. The couple may host their wedding at the Gathering hall or Hillside Pavillion. 

At the Gathering hall, guests take a short walk down to our waterfront. It’s the ideal elegant rustic setting for your reception, with state-of-the-art event lighting, concert sound, and video, and year-round comfort provided by central heat and air. A two-story stone fireplace and double staircase, as well as soaring 30ft. wood ceilings, a mezzanine balcony, and the space’s main point, a two-story stone fireplace, and double staircase, make for an outstanding entrance. The courtyard is the ideal location for beverages and appetizers, dessert, music, or simply a breath of fresh air to make your celebration truly unique. Lastly, the Gathering Hall can accommodate up to 250 people.  

The Hillside Pavilion is a 5000 sq. ft. that can accommodate up to 200 people. Hillside Pavilion has perfect stone pillars constructed from their quarry stone, soaring timber ceilings, and chandeliers. It will be the ideal setting to say “I do” and start an evening to remember.  The three-way slide-away glass doors lead to covered porches, including the 3,000-square-foot Hillside Terrace, two fire pits. Slide-away glass doors on three sides showcase the stunning vista while providing year-round weatherproof comfort for your friends and family. Use the air conditioning or heating, or open all three sides to let a pleasant breeze enter.

The bridal suite and Groom’s quarters are also available. The beautiful Bridal Suite, located in Hillside Pavilion. The suite features plenty of seating, comfortable furniture, central air and heat, five salon chair stations, full-length mirrors, speakers, WiFi, a full bathroom with shower and double sinks, plus snacks and drinks for your enjoyment.

On the other hand, the Groom’s quarters, situated on the Gathering Hall’s second floor. There is central air and heat, a full bath with a shower and double sinks, comfortable chairs, a pool table, satellite television, speakers, WiFi, a cigar terrace with a cove and waterfall view, and snacks and drinks are all provided. It’ll undoubtedly be a success.

The venue will also provide, event director and staff that meticulously plan every element of your special day, keeping you in mind at all times. The Franklin, TN

The Packages and Pricing

Graystone Quarry will make your special day the most unforgettable day of your life. With their expert, award-winning, and trusted vendors who will take care of your wedding day, they offer an excellent complete wedding package. Graystone Quarry will ensure that your celebration runs smoothly. Here are the details of their complete wedding package

A Saturday wedding with a full-service can accommodate up to 125 people; it costs $51,100 plus $167 for each additional person when RSVPs are received 30 days before the event. On select Fridays and Sundays, you can save $1000 off your initial booking; however,  combining this promo with holidays and other discounts are not allowed.

With additional fees, you can add a DJ, a small or large band to your wedding entertainment (300 people with a DJ, 260 people with a small band, and 226 people with a large band.) Day-of-event insurance costs around $250 and is not included in the price. Also, take note, Current sales tax, alcohol, and bar set up invitations/paper goods, officiant, photography are not included.
