Matt and Victoria knew that they wanted a beautiful and unique location for their engagement photos. After some research, Victoria stumbled upon this unique location in Smithville, Tennessee. Evins Mill was absolutely stunning and we couldn’t have asked for a better location for an engagement session. Evins Mill is a cute resort just east of Nashville, tucked away in the hills of Smithville along a beautiful little creek and a former mill on it’s property.

When we arrived to Evins Mill, a little lady, who seemed to run the resort, gave us a quick tour of the property so we knew the best locations for photos and the easiest way to get from one location to another. She also pointed out a few hidden gem locations that we were excited to explore. Matt and Victoria decided on two outfits for their session, a formal outfit and a casual outfit. I love this because you then have photos that can be used for any occasion!

We wandered the property and discovered so many beautiful locations. We joked on the swings and explored around the buildings. We found a cute hidden path behind wooden swings with trees that hugged them tightly.

When we finished there, we found this adorable building that looked like the perfect man cave in a cabin, complete with a pool table, bar, and trophies. From here, we switched to a casual outfit and explored the property more. We found a beautiful little creek, where the light peeked through the trees, giving us the perfect lighting.

Next, we decided that we would be okay with a bit of a hike. It was 95 degrees outside, but we knew that the falls we would see at the end of the hike would be worth it. We were not disappointed at all!

Enjoy some of our favorite images from the session!
