John and Nikki's Paris, France Engagement Session

As I said in my last blog post, my friend Kaylee and I were looking for couples to photograph while we were in Paris. We had to get creative on how we were going to find couples, so we took to Instagram! We searched the geotag for the Eiffel Tower, and that is where we found John and Nikki! 

After reaching out to Nikki on Instagram, we picked a day and time that worked for them, and then asked them to meet us by the merry go rounds by the Eiffel Tower. Once we met in the middle of the craziness of the big city, we were on our way! 

After chatting a little bit, we got to hear some of their story! These two had recently gotten engaged and had yet to get engagement photos done. Of course, Paris is the perfect location for engagement photos. Am I right!?

As we wandered around the areas surrounding the Eiffel Tower, Kaylee and I got to know John and Nikki more and more. We learned about their pups, their bicoastal lifestyle, and learned about their favorite gluten free restaurants they had discovered in Paris.

We walked down to the Seine River, and admired the Eiffel Tower from there, as boats drifted by. This is a view you will never get tired of. Next, we walked up to a path along the fountains that lined one of the most famous pieces of architecture in history. We waited until strollers passed and we had a clearing for some beautiful photos! 

One thing I love about this job is the connections we make with clients. When we finished our session, we talked for probably 30 minutes about all of our favorite places in the city and different restaurants we should try! John and Nikki had arrived several days before us, so they had discovered more places to visit and eat than we had, so it was so nice to hear their suggestions!
