Mike and Angela's Paris Couples Session at Montmartre
My friend, Kaylee Creighton, and I traveled to Paris, France in November and were in awe of the city. We knew while we were there, we had to get a couple in front of our lens. Luckily, we were able to get a few different couples on top of who we were there to photograph. The architecture and the city is like nothing you will find in the U.S. so we were bound and determined to take advantage of it.
While we were visiting Sacre Coeur at Montmartre, we noticed a couple who were trying to take a selfie in front of it. They looked like they probably were Americans (yes, you can tell), so we offered to take a photo of them there on their phones. They were very appreciative, and then we just started talking.
Within a few minutes, we were able to explain that we were wedding photographers from Tennessee and Indiana, and we were looking to photograph as many couples as possible while we were there. We then asked Mike and Angela if they would be open to modeling for a few minutes. We didn’t want to take up too much of their time, plus we were losing daylight as we spoke. Thankfully, they were totally on board for this and we set off!
We wandered the streets of Montmartre around the beautiful cathedral scoping out beautiful locations along the streets. As we talked to Mike and Angela, we found out that they had planned on hiring a photographer while they were in Europe, but had just lost track of time and had forgotten. Luckily, we were there to help out with that!
We had so much fun exploring the beautiful streets of Paris with Mike and Angela and photographing their connection! Check out some of my favorite images from their mini session!
