Anthony and Andrea's Family Session: Amazing Couple at Papago Park, Phoenix
Andrea is one of my sister-in-law’s closest friends, she came to Arizona with her husband, Anthony, after they graduated from college several years ago. Andrea and Anthony adopted dogs after moving to Arizona and ended up with a pack of four pups. They had never been able to capture a family portrait of themselves and all of their pups, but happily, I was able to do so.
I met them at their home to snap some shots in their lovely backyard before heading over to a small walk-behind baseball diamond just across the street. We were able to get all of the dogs together for lovely shots outside their home.
We took the dogs home and went down the block to Papago Park with only Anthony and Andrea after we were able to capture a few photographs of the entire crew. They hadn't had professional photos taken since their wedding 5 years ago, so it was wonderful to be able to do so!
Amazing Couple at Papago Park!
“Wow, these two are just amazing! Really! and undoubtedly in love." I had a lot of fun capturing their love and connection! The entire session was my favorite; the couple did a wonderful job of keeping comfortable and charming throughout. I was blown away by how open these two were to my recommendations and how eager they were to have some fun and go crazy with us! It's even more wonderful to capture their moments against the stunning red rock backdrop with stunning natural light. Also, I like how open they were to allow their pups to participate!
These two are incredible folks who I am grateful to captured and have in my life as a photographer. I'm looking forward to taking more shots with them in the future!
Papago Park Insights
Hunt's Tomb, which is on the National Register of Historic Places, is part of the Papago Park complex, which is located in the Arizona towns of Phoenix and Tempe. It's also been declared a Phoenix Pride Point. Papago Park has served as a reservation for indigenous tribes, a fish hatchery during the Great Depression, a POW camp during World War II, and a Veterans Administration hospital. The Phoenix Zoo, Desert Botanical Garden, golf courses, numerous museums, baseball fields, lakes, and Sonoran Desert vegetation and animals may all be found in the park today.
Make a day of it by visiting some of the park's most popular attractions. Visit the Desert Botanical Garden to see the Sonoran Desert's vast variety of plants; the Phoenix Zoo to see all kinds of animals; the Arizona Heritage Center to learn more about the state's history; the Papago Golf Club to tee off, or the Hall of Flame Museum of Firefighting to have some family fun.
