Chris and Kim’s Midsummer July Wedding
What’s better than saying ‘I do’ to the love of your life?
Answer: Being able to do it all over again!
It’s not the first time that Chris and Kim have declared their love under holy matrimony in front of their loved ones. I had the pleasure of capturing their intimate elopement back in May of this year. Due to the restrictions of the current situation, the lovely couple was unable to push through with a big celebration. They instead invited their wedding party and closest loved ones to be part of a small ceremony at St.Paul’s Lutheran Church in Temperance, Michigan. With restrictions easing, they held a much larger celebration at Nazareth Hall in Grand Rapids, Ohio.
A Second Take on a Memorable Moment
Unlike the first time around, prepping for the wedding was less of a makeshift situation with a proper changing room for both the bride and groom. Kim and Chris spent a handful of their time going through her photos from the last celebration. They may be doing this for the second time around, but the moment is just as or even more so special than it had been the first time.
New Ceremony, Same Spark
The lovely bride and groom walked down the aisle in the outdoor ceremony hall. Just as before, their pups also made the ceremony and walked down along with the beautiful bridesmaids and dapper groomsmen.
The reception venue was much larger this time, big enough to host a much bigger guest list. The bride and groom shared their first (second) dance with the rest of the wedding guests. This official wedding ceremony marks another one for the book of good memories for the (re)newly weds!
