Date Night Ideas To Do During Quarantine in Nashville, TN Part 2
Spending all this time at home with your significant other can be a true test. We are all in close working quarters that we aren’t used to, and things just aren’t the same.
One thing that should stay the same is making time for date night.
Why? Well, there is actually research to show that mundane and routines can be the silent killer of relationships. The good thing is, it doesn’t have to be extravagant to have a significant positive impact on your relationship.
Since this is so important in maintaining a healthy relationship, I figured it was time to come back for part two of date night ideas for quarantine.
Take a Virtual Trip Around The World:
So many places are offering virtual tours! How cool is that!? You can sit in your pajamas and walk through the Louvre! Find a place neither of you have been before and talk through it virtually. You two can explore new places together without ever leaving your couch! Here are a few places that are offering virtual tours: The British Museum, Musée D’Orsay, National Museum of Contemporary and Modern Art, and the Van Gogh Museum.
Have a Picnic
How often do you really get to enjoy a picnic? I can honestly say, the only time we do is when we are hiking. Take this time to plan a nice picnic for just the two of you. This can even be in your backyard or on your patio! The weather has been so beautiful lately, so be sure to enjoy it!
Virtual Game Night with Friends
So this will be more than just the two of you, but it still breaks the habit of your everyday routines and allows you to have fun together. That is the main goal of date night. There are many online platforms that allow you to play games with your friends. Get a group of your friends together on a video call and play the board games you would normally play! You can play games like Settlers of Catan or 7 Wonders with your friends while staying safe!
Take a MasterClass Together
Is there something that you two have always wanted to do? Or something you have wanted to know how to do better? There are lots of masterclass options out there, but one of the most popular platforms is MasterClass. You can learn shooting techniques from Steph Curry, learn how to become a comedian from Steve Martin, learn how to cook from Gordon Ramsay, and so much more. It is such a cool way to learn different skills!
Look Through Photos
If you are already married, this is the perfect time to pull out your wedding album and look through it together. Take the time to appreciate your marriage and the wedding day that started this chapter of your life. If you aren’t married yet, take time to look through old photos of the two of you and appreciate how much you have grown together. It’s a little sentimental, but so beautiful.
So what are you doing during this time to make it special?
