Wesley and Lauren’s Sunny Garden Wedding Near Seattle, WA
You might recognize the lovely couple Wesley and Lauren for their mountain elopement session not too long ago. I remember them as the young couple who had to navigate their schedule around the current situation.
Here’s a quick recap: the young couple had plans for a nice wedding and rescheduled multiple times but ended up getting legally married in a courthouse in March. But as things eased, the happy couple finally tied the knot with a lovely reception at Christianson’s Nursery in Mount Vernon in July. And while the journey wasn’t the easiest, the newlyweds finally got the day that they deserved to celebrate their love.
A Long-Awaited Fairytale Conclusion
The reception was in the old schoolhouse on the property, which granted us a lot of places to capture this joyous occasion. Everyone from the newlyweds to the wedding party and guests had their moments in the sunny spotlight being surrounded by nature. The couple had a lovely time taking photos outdoors and in a greenhouse nearby. The shoot was definitely less challenging than the last (since we didn’t have to hike!), but the warmth in their eyes and smiles were definitely just as bright.
The majority of the bridal party was there for the reception, but there were a few who couldn’t make it due to being out of state. Nonetheless, the two newlyweds had a lovely time spending the entire day being surrounded by the love of close family and friends.
