Kris and Dillon’s engagement session at Centennial Park in Nashville, TN was pure magic. We lucked out with one of those gorgeous November days—crisp, colorful, and absolutely beautiful. For Kris and Dillon, this location wasn't just picturesque; it was personal. Centennial Park had been the backdrop for many of their early dates, so it made perfect sense to return to where so much of their story was written.

From Hinge to Happily Ever After

Kris and Dillon first met online through Hinge, and the connection was instant. After dating for four years, they got engaged in August 2024 and are now counting down the days until their wedding on October 11, 2025.

Kris works at a staffing agency for ad agencies, bringing creativity and energy to her day-to-day. Dillon is a high school English teacher for freshmen—the kind of teacher you can tell students actually love. Their personalities balance each other perfectly: goofy, kind-hearted, and full of life.

Hand-Dyed Dress & Endless Laughs

One thing that made this session extra special? Kris hand-dyed her engagement photo dress herself! It was stunning and added such a personal, creative touch to their photos. From the first few minutes of meeting them, it was clear how much fun we were going to have. They were full of laughter, inside jokes, and the kind of easygoing love that makes photographing couples so rewarding.

We wandered around the park, taking advantage of the beautiful fall light, historic architecture, and colorful leaves. Every moment—from playful twirls to quiet, romantic glances—captured their incredible bond perfectly.

Looking Ahead to Their October Wedding

I already know their October 2025 wedding is going to be a blast—if their engagement session was any hint, it’ll be a day filled with laughter, happy tears, and lots of dancing. I feel so lucky to be part of Kris and Dillon’s story, and I can't wait to capture their wedding day memories!
