Heather reached out to me in mid-June to talk about photographing their wedding later in the year in Michigan. She had mentioned that they were coming to North Carolina and Tennessee the next week, so I offered to do a family session for them while they were here. The next day, Heather called me and asked if they could switch their full wedding to an elopement while they were in the mountains. Of course, I said yes, and we went ahead with planning! I helped them plan their wedding and they chose a beautiful location just inside the North Carolina border at Max Patch.
